INSIGHT: During my time at The University of Texas at Austin, I was full of ideas and dreams, so I began reaching out to my favorite brands and businesses, pitching creative concepts for how I envisioned their brand. Shop Latinx was one of the first to give me the opportunity to explore and execute my creativity as a Creative Intern!

THE PITCH: My idea was to contribute to Shop Latinx as a cultural hub by showcasing the spectrum of beauty within the Latino community through music, fashion, art, and more by creating fresh social campaigns across their platforms.

THE EXECUTION:
I joined as an intern right at the beginning of Shop Latinx’s rebrand and had the opportunity to keep building on the ideas I pitched. We launched a “Pass The Aux” series where we asked our favorite artists to share their go-to tracks. I also helped brainstorm ways to bring the Hispanic community’s POV to life, leading to a series that spotlighted Latino creatives and their stories. On top of that, I created one of Shop Latinx’s Spotify playlists and developed social content to promote it—which got a lot of love from the featured artists! And the astrology and quote ideas? Yep, those came to life too 😎
